Trump’s approval ratings continue their decline

IN IDB/TIPP he dropped five points, from 41 to 36, in the past month. His support among Republicans dropped from 83% to 76%.

Two other new polls show almost identical results (36 and 37).

(This poll, per 538, skews about two points liberal, so the adjusted number will probably be 38. (I’m guessing at that based on prior adjustments. 538 has not yet incorporated this new poll into their index.)

His current average at 538 is 39.6 (prior to the new IDB/TIPP poll, which will bring him down somewhat). He was at 42.3 on Aug 20, so he’s dropped about three points in two weeks.

His current average at RCP is 41.5.

Even the Trump-friendly Rasmussen shows him at -12 on their scale, with a 44% approval rating. In contrast, Obama left office with a 62% approval rating on Rasmussen, and actually managed to gain ten points from start to finish during his tenure. (Trump has dropped twelve since his first poll as Prez.)
