I don’t know whether there is anything wrong with this. He was portraying Susan Boyle. (I think it was Halloween, 2012)

But it seems like a lapse of judgment from a man who is supposed to be a distinguished newsman. Do you think Cronkite or Murrow or Brinkley would do this?

But looking back at the Megyn Kelly firing … same network … it seems downright creepy. I take that back. It has nothing to do with Megyn Kelly. It would seem downright creepy even if I had never heard of Megyn Kelly.

Marisa Tomei in topless action from The Wrestler (2008)

This finished #2 in our poll to determine the Top Nude Scenes of 2008. That’s impressive, but less impressive than it sounds. 2008 was probably the single worst year in the history of modern screen nudity. It’s astounding to see how much things changed in the short time between those great years in the 90s to the lean pickin’s of 2008.

Frankly, that Drunken Stepfather headline oversells the pic, but while she’s the topic of the moment, here’s a bit about her:

She’s a latter-day ‘scream queen’ whose specialty is horror films. Her dad is the former pop idol David Cassidy, and her paternal grandpa is the singer/actor Jack Cassidy, who was ubiquitous on talk shows in the 60s and early 70s. Grandpa’s specialty was playing the egotistical rich guy whose evil plans get foiled by Colombo or McCloud or Barnaby Jones or some other down-to-earth schmuck. You would certainly remember his face if you saw him.

Both Jack and David had major issues with alcohol abuse.

Here are the results of the most recent poll, complete with thumbnails and links to a film clip from each 1996 performance in the top twenty. Also included on the page is a link to the numerical results.

UPDATE: an album of 1080hd stills from the top ten

Once again, if you are a member, you do not need to download any of those film clips. I retrieved each and every one of them from the members’ section, where they rest side-by-side with some 54,000 other clips and about a million pictures. After 23 years, things begin to accumulate.

If you are not a member, you can use those file locker sites linked from Mirror Creator. My tip: I find that Zippyshare contains the least bullshit, but even with that one you sometimes have to click on the orange download box a few times before you get the result you want. (It’s not consistent. Sometimes it works on the first try; other times it gives you a bunch of irrelevant links before yielding its treasure on the third try.)

Hey, the best solution is just to sign up and get access to that vast amount of film clips, pictures and collages – not to mention twenty years’ worth of back issues, and the fully working edition of each day’s Fun House, which has now been published each and every day for more than 7000 consecutive days.
