  1. Had to go with Molly

    1. That was one surprisingly perky pair.
    2. Molly bleeping Ringwald doing that sort of thing was one hell of a surprise to put it mildly.

  2. So predictable, so disappointing and so boring. Of course the over-rated Alyssa Milano wins. I fail to see the great appeal of this woman. But for years the internet seems to absolutely love her. With so many great scenes to pick from (I could have easily picked half a dozen and none of them would have been her), this is the best we can do? Yawn.

It was hard to pass on Salma Hayek (because–SALMA HAYEK). Catherine McCormack and Natasha Henstridge (each because they have basically perfect breasts), but I ended up voting for Molly Ringwald. After all those classic teen movies where she was the good girl who kept her clothes on, it was such a wonderful surprise to see her topless and reveal some fantastic breasts that had been hiding all those years.

    1. ? I don’t think there was any nudity in any of those teen movies, not the ones directed by John Hughes anyway. I believe there was originally a nude scene in the script for Molly Ringwald’s character in the movie “Fresh Horses” (which was not a John Hughes movie even though it starred both her and Andrew McCarthy.)

There was a nice bikini scene in that movie, but Molly Ringwald wasn’t in it.

  3. Gawd. You could take only the ones who got 0 votes, go again, and still have one hell of a good contest.

    1. Absolutely true. There are some memorable and/or spectacular scenes that got shut out. Victoria Abril, Linda Fiorentino, Cynda Williams (twice), Eva Herzigova, Anna Levine, Marina Zudina, Els Dottermans, Asha Jenkins – I love all of those scenes.

      1. I forget if you mentioned this previously, but did you leave out Joanna Going in How to Make an American Quilt?

        1. I could have named many more with goose eggs, Joanna Going being one of them.

I didn’t know whether you meant “left out of the poll” or “left out of the comment you replied to.” She is in the poll. Zero votes. I did leave her out of the comment, although I did not mean to suggest she was unworthy of inclusion in that company.

Although I still think that she and Jaime Murray are the same (very beautiful) woman.

  4. Scoop, the ballot sequence might be influencing the voting (although likely not hugely significant). Have you thought about listing in alphabetical order?

    1. Yes…the order does appear to be having an effect. Alphabetical or reverse alphabetical would be an improvement.

      1. Linda Fiorentino always reminded me of Joan Jett, and I never wanted to see Joan nude, so Linda’s stuff was never exciting to me. Mimi’s scene (actually it was not just a scene, but the entire movie) was great, but I don’t find her attractive. Berkely shocked with full nudity, but the lousy, porno-feeling film kinda tainted it. I was glad to see Holly Marie Combs get some votes: sexy scene & great tits. Overall, can’t blame anyone for voting for Milano: she pretty much gave up her body to those two actors in that scene – guy actually biting her boobs – and what a body it was. You don’t often see that from a major actress. She didn’t quite show bush though – which in that scene she should’ve since modesty was clearly out the window – which takes points off.

    2. It did last time as well, unless he figured out how to randomize it it’s going to be the way it is.

Also he pretty much listed them in the order of what he KNEW was going to get the most votes (honestly nothing wrong with that in this case)

      1. Yes, that’s right. I knew the top six would battle it out, but wasn’t sure which order they would finish in. I placed them in the top spots.

After those six I tried to “seed” them in approximate order of how many votes I thought they would get (not in the order that I personally would rank them). Obviously I greatly overestimated the popularity of Amy Irving’s full frontal, and greatly underestimated how much people like Elizabeth Shue! (I love her as well, but did not dream that scene, which is basically a nip-slip, would make the top ten.)

In my opinion, alphabetical order with 104 choices might mean that somebody never saw the one they would have voted for. If I could have narrowed it down to (let’s say) 20 choices, alphabetical would make much more sense.

Perhaps we should do the poll in two stages: stage one to determine which ones make the alphabetical list on stage two, stage two to determine the final order of finish. But, hey, it’s not a scientific poll. That might inflate the significance of the poll beyond its inherent merit.

        1. I wish there was positional voting so we could give points to some of our other favorites. I don’t expect you to actually do this. My one vote went to Stacey Dash in Illegal in Blue because I had to make sure she received something but I love the scenes with Elizabeth Berkley and Mimi Rogers as much.

        2. I don’t think anybody here will complain about the important extra minutes out of our day if the poll is a little more complicated or takes a little longer. I like the two-stage idea, although I also like the idea of one stage but doing it like MVP balloting (1st through whatever place votes).

Then we can hammer the one guy who refuses to give Daddario a first place vote because he still believes in bush/butt ratios.

  5. Ultimately, I went with Mimi Rogers in Full Body Massage. Because she was a well known mainstream actress getting a deep breast massage from a fairly mainstream actor.

But damn, I could’ve gone with a lot of others. Elizabeth Berkley’s performance was a big deal because before that she was only known for Head of the Class. Same with Alyssa Milano from Who’s the Boss. And I think Juliette Lewis was only known for Cape Fear as a little girl. And of course Mia Sara from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off or Legend. And then you got the European ones like Renata Danciewicz, which is another one of my favorite scenes. What a year!

Honorable Mention: Athena Massey in Undercover Cop. She played embarrassed in that first scene, and it was convincing. Hits the “ENF” spot perfectly.

  6. I had to go with Elisabeth Shue. She was my ultimate crush and seeing that nipple in good light on the big screen almost made Leaving Las Vegas the feel good movie of the year.

  7. I had to go with Salma. A bright young star at the time, with a face & body that could drop men to their knees on sight. That sexy accent, that natural Latina tan… and suddenly there she is, nude with decent lighting, allowing herself to be groped by Banderas. I liked the scene even more when she revealed that she hated being nude in it. Viva Salma.

  8. Interesting how even more than 20 years later, it’s still the most famous scenes that get the most votes.

    1. Your comment doesn’t really make sense when you think about it, why 23 years later would people’s favorite scenes (and most popular back then too) change much. I don’t see it.

Scoopy, seriously -one day- I didn’t even get a chance to vote this time?

(It didn’t really matter since the top 2 were going to be one of my choices, I was just trying to decide, ultimately Milano won my vote, if I would have been able to cast it that is, heh)
