Trump denies asking Mulvaney to pressure federal agency on hurricane claims

Oh sure, I believe him. I just figured that Wilbur Ross woke up one day and thought, “I’m going to tell our weather scientists to stop telling the truth.” Yeah, he just did it as a goof. What a rascal! Funny, funny little guy. After all, Wilbur just has that wacky sense of humor, and the Secretary of Commerce has nothing more important on his plate.

One detail in the original story was especially damning for Ross’s role in the scandal. Apparently Mulvaney did not tell Ross to start firing people if they failed to comply. The little weasel added that detail on his own!

As I said, funny guy!

  1. “This guy gets more scrutiny than any President ever”
When you’re a pathological liar that happens. This is the most dishonest man I’ve ever seen in public life- and I’m old enough to remember Johnson and Nixon. And for 35 years now (“John Baron”).
So you don’t give a damn that the President or a Cabinet secretary is ordering Govt, employees to lie to American citizens, and in a sector which can literally be life or death in some situations. That’s your prerogative. But I’m going to guess that 2/3 of the population still gives a damn.

  2. Seriously, why would anyone give a fuck about this? So what if he did or didn’t. This guy gets more scrutiny than any President ever. It gets old, I can do to Drudge, HuffPo or any number of places to get politics. You had a cool site at one time but you’re a pain in the ass today.

    1. I think pretty much everyone gives a fuck when politicians instruct scientists to deny science.

(And if they don’t, they surely ought to!)
