Trump rally was peaceful, sparsely attended

I was just glad to see there were no violent clashes between MAGAs and BLMs.

The crowds were smaller than expected. (Est: 6200) Trump hoped for a sold-out arena plus a massive overflow crowd. He and Pence were planning to speak to the overflow group outdoors in addition to the indoor arena crowd. Since the indoor arena had empty seats, there was no overflow crowd, so the outdoor speech was cancelled.

Pence’s portion of the indoor gathering probably could have been cancelled as well, given the crowd:

That pic was taken during Pence’s speech, but the arena still had plenty of available seats while Trump spoke. Example:

  1. What is incomprehensible is that Trump and his campaigners like Hanity keep going after Biden’s dementia and gaffs when there are hundreds of clips of Trump floating around sounding and looking like he has late stage Alzheimers

  2. The entire upper deck during Trump’s speech was basically empty, and that guy was certainly in the upper deck. Depending on who you blame, plenty of Generation Z reserved thousands of free tickets there and didn’t use them to troll him. Or the fact his tired act to replay the same lines of the last 5 years isn’t even worth the trip for his supporters anymore.

Biden is playing his cards well, let Trump’s own anger implode on himself by not letting himself get caught up in Trump’s shitfest. COVID-19 is going to explode again heading into the fall, and then Trump is going to look like an even bigger idiot than now when the pressure keeps building on him in a losing campaign.

    1. Andrew Little, the Public Information Officer for the Tulsa Fire Department, confirmed to Forbes on Sunday that a tally taken by the fire marshal clocked the turnout at just under 6,200 people, far fewer attendees than the campaign expected.
