He’s 79. It’s called estate planning.
Eh, if you’re closer than not to the end of your life, and Dylan is 79, why not cash-out on your life’s work to ensure the welfare of your kids/grandkids/great-grandkids? I mean, the rights are most likely going to be sold anyway once you die, so why not control where they go?
I imagine Dylan’s way past caring about the “sell-out” bullshit anyway — he’s been accused of it ever since he went electric back in 1965.
