“Salma Hayek’s ‘Boobs’ are getting their own TV show”

It’s about damned time!

(Headline is misleading, of course, but the story is still “titillating.”)

  1. As a (mostly) life long New Yorker, I am shocked, SHOCKED I tell you that the New York Post would use such a salacious headline.

35 years ago, Tim Kazurinsky would do salutes to journalism on SNL weekend Update where he would just hold up and read NY Post headlines. The first one that probably gave him the idea was “HEADLESS BODY IN TOPLESS BAR.” That is the headline to which all tabloid headline writers aspire.

    1. In the 1980’s, a novel was published about a newspaper editor obsessed with printing the ultimate tabloid headline. He mentioned the topless bar one as being good, but not the greatest possible. The headline he found grounds to publish was also the title of the book: “DWARF RAPES NUN, FLEES IN UFO”.
