This is a new series starring Andrew Garfield as a conflicted Mormon detective.
“As Detective Jeb Pyre investigates the murder of Brenda Wright Lafferty and her baby daughter in a suburb in the Salt Lake Valley, he uncovers buried truths about the origins of the LDS religion and the violent consequences of unyielding faith.”
RogerEbert.com loves it, and some reviewers have compared it to the best seasons of True Detective, but IMDb viewers rate it only 7.1. I have not watched the first episode yet, except for this shower scene.
Well if the Ghost of Ebert loves it. Or did he somehow morph himself into cyberspace before exiting his earthly existence? Is this technology going to be available to others or only to film critics? Not that I’m questioning their worth to society or anything.
Ex Mormons I know love it.
Yeah it is really good. It did remind me of True Detective
Agree on both counts. I watched the first two episodes last night and got hooked!
