- Here is the extensive list of nominees. Open nominations were permitted for a full month, and ninety names were submitted. That list includes links to captures from each nominated performance.
- Here are the results of the qualifying round, which determined which of the nominees would appear on the final ballot, and how they would be seeded. Fifty six actresses moved to the final round based on having received at least one first-place vote, and four others were advanced based on a good overall score. In that round, Emma Corrin had the most first-place votes and Sydney Sweeney had the best overall score. In the final voting they would finish #4 and #3 respectively.
- Here is the final vote tally. In this portion of the balloting, voters had to choose only the one scene they felt to be the very best, so some of the scenes that did fairly well in the qualifying round (like Aubrey Plaza in The White Lotus), dropped far down the leader board because they clearly were not the very best scene of the year.
The most astonishing thing about the list to me is Emma Thompson finishing 8th on the list. I mean as opposed to 800th which is where she just belongs. Come on. Are the guys who voted really that into Granny porn? Yeesh.
OK, sure, she is brave for doing that at her age, but that doesn’t mean we have to look at it. Egads. No sane person could like that above a younger, leaner, firmer body.

The best first time nude scene of the year was Emma Watson and it wasn’t even in a movie. Kinda makes all the first timers irrelevant in comparison.

I would consider that a “curiosity” vote, as in “Which nude scene were we most curious to see?” As I mentioned about a month ago, that was the most viewed nude scene on my site this year, and finished second among all posts, falling only to Emma Watson’s topless beach pics.
The final results were fine, even if not reflecting my own overall preferences. I take back what I wrote early in December. 2022 was actually a pretty good nude year. I did not actually get to vote on the very final tally, as I was not online for a couple of days, but that’s ok.
I just wish everyone put his much thought into their in-real-life votes. (Also, thank Christ political contests aren’t fought in the nude.) Happy ’23 everyone!

The dullest, most superficial choices ranked higher and there was multiple attempts at voter fraud. This is pretty much real life voting.
In real life people cry voter fraud with zero evidence way way more than here.

If I do this again, I suppose I’ll produce two lists: my choices and the voting results. In some years, including this one, those lists are not very similar. It’s disappointing to see such mediocre choices after I give people the time and resources to review all the scenes. It’s like the voters just ignore the evidence.
So,as you said … it’s just like real-life voting.
I just have a few simple rules:
1 – She’s pretty.
2 – It’s full frontal.
3 – How it works within the movie or show. This last bit can mitigate the first two.
Were there any good looking or talented working actors in 2018? How many of them were cloned and did buck naked fight scenes as their nude debut?
I voted for Karin Viard. She’s still pretty, she was buck naked and her scene was funny. I haven’t even seen the movie and I still liked it.
Anya Taylor-Joy is an actor I respect but her nude scene in the Northman was worse then her clothed scenes. I’m baffled that people would even vote for it.
Does bring up a good point: how many actresses Taylor-Joy’s age even do full frontal now? Even Sweeney has skipped the full monty – Karin Viard, my favorite, showed her real bush at 55

Oh, and I’ll say it: Ashley Greene has aged BAD. Like, has she been doing the wrong kind of drugs BAD. She’s too young for her body to have flattened out in general that poorly. Girlfriend needs to keep the clothes on.

Sweeney was pure popularity contest. Probably would have placed for a non nude scene.
De Armas for Blonde? Lackluster topless only scenes get high votes if they’re in overhyped movies that don’t remotely earn their rating. Her other scene was better. Neither belong in the top ten.
Richardson? Proof the voting has trolls. Nobody. But nobody. Actually thinks that’s the best nude scene of the year by any standards. Go team bababooie, I guess.
The ex child star with a mediocre topless scene and the other ex child star with the mediocre topless scene split the rest of the top votes. Yawn. Neither are particularly noteworthy or particularly attractive.
Mia Goth’s scene in X isn’t great but she is, so kudos there.
Meanwhile the Filipina who looks fantastic and shows everything well lit for a long time and the Korean goddess who has an extended sex scene followed by a gratuitous mock fellatio rumble around in the doldrums.
But hey, y’all got to see Sweeney’s nipples for a few seconds. Kinda. From the side.

Yeah, it was a pretty bad year. I moved the polish actresses to the top, because almost none of the american actresses were interesting (the polish ones are good in their own right, but way less famous, I mean).

Yup…this year was a flop
I wasn’t especially disappointed with the nominees. There were great nude scenes this year and even memorable ones. (I mentioned Khang, Efira and Viard. There were others outside the top twenty). I was disappointed with the results, which pushed all the obvious, personality-based, American-oriented scenes to the top.
It’s interesting to me that, in my opinion, numbers 11-20 are superior to numbers 1-10. Maya Hawke and Anya Taylor-Joy are there in mediocre scenes because of the inevitable familiarity bump, but the other eight are pretty solid choices.
Jeez try to take this more seriously, Andrew Tate – Sydney has that heart-shaped ass, & every scene can be freeze-framed now so IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW LONG IT IS – are we actually watching all these scenes in the context of the shows? Hell no
If I recall correctly my top three were Ashley Green. Brittany Snow, and Mia Goth. X is a great movie (along with its sequel Pearl). I’m a big fan of the director, Ty West. I’d highly recommend watching House of the Devil and Innkeepers.

Sweeney is the current possessor of the Jennifer Connolly Mystique, meaning that she gets votes just for showing up and briefly exposing her chest, just as Connolly used to do 25 years ago.
Anya T-J is so far in this ranking and yet her nude debut was just fantastic (after my choice is as it is because I love this actress and I was so waiting to see her buttocks more than her breasts although now I would really love to see both and even more) At least she’s in the top 20 without being last. Thank you

I don’t accomplish what I want with that. In the case of ranked choice voting, it is possible for the winner to be a scene that nobody considered the best of the year.
In theory, the system we use now guarantees that each one of the top twenty is considered the very best scene by several people.
Interesting thought. I like your reasoning for not doing it. Ranked choice is great for picking the least bad option, like we want in politics, but maybe not this.
I wonder if we should do it one-against-one after the qualifying round, kinda like the March Madness. Number one against #64, and so forth, or one against sixteen in four different brackets. No matter which system we use, I am going to have to find some software that is more secure because I don’t really want to spend time playing ballot cop, as I did this year.
I just kinda feel that I shouldn’t have to use 2FA or 3FA or individual passwords or some such fol-de-rol to conduct such a silly little poll.
