Wait! Tucker Carlson is the voice of reason?

According to other news sources, Tucker was also instrumental in getting the administration to start taking COVID-19 seriously. I am having a hard time dealing with this harsh new reality.

From the “Where there’s smoke” department: In 2012, the US senate voted 96-3 to ban insider trading by lawmakers using non-public information. Burr was one of the three who voted against it! (It passed the House 417-2.) Of the three senators who voted against the bill, Burr is the only one still in office. One of the Representatives who voted “NAY” is still in office, but will not seek re-election in 2020.

I’m starting to think this Burr fellow may not be on the up-and-up.

Shannon “Nadia” Elizabeth stripping

Dish Dogs was actually filmed before American Pie, but was not released until the phenomenal success of Pie made Shannon a big enough star to create a demand for more of her. Shannon Elizabeth played Nadia in American Pie, the gorgeous Eastern European babe whose nudity was broadcast over the internet.

In this movie she was a little younger and fresher, and she still had the curve in her nose and her unenhanced bosom. And she looks even better here than she did in American Pie. Plus, freed from the responsibility of her inept Pie accent, she was able to act as herself, and that self is very charming, with an electrifying smile.

Shannon Elizabeth works as a stripper in Dish Dogs, and her entire routine is shown on camera. (She kept the bottom on, but it was a thong, and there were rear shots.) Shannon is also topless in the deleted scenes, trying on bras in a changing room, and asking for an evaluation of each. There is also a music video on the DVD, and Shannon is also topless in that, with at least two more camera set-ups not used in the movie. Shannon also spends much of the music video playing frisbee on the beach in a bikini, which is not as good as Shannon playing naked, but is better than any other human activity involving frisbees.

In fact, the DVD of that film includes tons of extra features. They all stink, but there are plenty of them, and many include pictures of Shannon Elizabeth naked, discussions of Shannon Elizabeth nudity, songs about Shannon Elizabeth naked, and proposals for world peace centering around mankind’s mutual admiration for Shannon Elizabeth nudity.

Those are some pretty strong plusses, leading me to conclude that all movies should feature a couple minutes of her naked. On The Waterfront, The Seventh Seal, The Muppet Movie, Battleship Potemkin – pretty much anything could be improved by Shannon’s body.

Economist: “3 Rules for the Pandemic”

“What policy can do is reduce the hardship facing those who are temporarily out of work. That means that we need to spend much more on programs like paid sick leave, unemployment benefits, food stamps and Medicaid that aid Americans in distress, who need far more help than they’ll get from an across-the-board cash drop. This spending would also provide stimulus, but that’s a secondary concern.”

Such a compassionate man.

Well, that’s a relief. It will only kill about twice as many people (11 million) as the Holocaust (6 million)! No big deal.

  • As the original commenter pointed out, 3.4% of our population would be about eight times as many people as have died in all America’s wars added together. 3.4% is more than ten million people. About 600,000 or 700,000 Americans died as a result of the Civil War, and about 400,000 Americans died in the WW2 struggle.
  • 3.4% is even more than the PERCENTAGE of Americans who died in the Civil War.
  • And those Civil War and WW2 casualties were spread out over some four years.

(The 1918 flu pandemic killed approximately as many Americans as the Civil War.)
