Two of the greatest screen beauties played the same role, about three decades apart. Catherine Deneuve originated the role in Truffaut’s Mississippi Mermaid in 1969, and Angelina Jolie essayed it in Original Sin (2002). Both films were based on Cornell Woolrich’s “Waltz into Darkness.”
Original Sin is not an especially good movie, but the sex scenes between Jolie and Antonio Banderas may be the hottest ever filmed between two A-List performers.

These images are not new, but if you consider the most eye-appealing wonders of this big blue marble, whether natural or man-made, surely Sydney Sweeney in a bikini has to be right up there with Iguazu Falls, Michelangelo’s David, The Taj Mahal and Waimea Valley.
