  1. The problems is in the Nixon regime you had a definitive sea of change of opinion on him. In general, people had more sense about the situation.

    Nowadays, ‘owning the libs’ is more important than basically anything in the conservative ideology. They’re a cult. It would be like asking Scientologists to turn on L Ron Hubbard.

    I mean, everything about Donald Trump has been corruption and incompetence rolled into one. As they say, the standard of crime is motive, means, and opportunity. He’s got motive down pat, he’s too incompetent to use means, and opportunity is dependent on outside circumstances.

    There’s virtually nothing his cult would consider him impeachable for. Hell, if there were clear cut evidence of a watergate break in nowadays, most of his supporters would SUPPORT the fact he did it! About the only time he’s told the truth was when he campaigned about the fact he could shoot someone in cold blood and those people would support him.

    That’s the problem with a shit society where one half of the populace is basically a cult.

  2. If I know the Democratic leadership, they’ll take a good long look at this and do nothing.
