1. I like how this list is more diverse than the Golden Globes or the Academy awards.

   Although really, THIS contest should be called the Golden Globes…

   1. Maybe we should just do what the “real” awards do, and establish categories: Best Movie Nudity, Best TV, Best Newcomer, and of course Lifetime Achievement. Suggestions for other categories?

               Are we a bunch of nerds, or what? We even fully expect the Spanish Inquisition.

2. A thought, and something I thought we’d never have to entertain.

   Perhaps split the vote between series and movie, and then pick an overall winner?

   Might shake things up, make things interesting, create tons of excessive work for you just to amuse us.

3. Kate Walsh, Sometime Other Than Now.

   As for Graham, yeah, in her 50s. But this is a thing. Porizkova, Hunt, Hunter. Kirby’s 34. That’s a thing, too, but a different one. The first thing is because actresses are still getting work after they’re “over the hill”. Sure, things have changed. But it’s also that boomers are numerous & still active. We like who we liked in our glory days.

4. There doesn’t seem to be any out-of-the ordinary nude scenes. I tend to prefer adventurous non-sexual nudity. Like a nude fight scene, or a swim scene, or even a “running away from the killer” scene like in My Bloody Valentine or Pin-up Dolls on Ice or something like that.

   The only thing close is Bracken Burns (nude horseback riding). But it’s such a short scene.

   The Maryse Miege gets an honorable mention though.

5. Is there a “Geez, I’ve been waiting a long time to see [X] naked! Finally!” candidate this year? That usually adds some momentum to a slot, but I don’t recognize one of those here.

   1. Elle Fanning. Though maybe you count butt. I don’t. Occasionally, a Winstead comes along who dips their toes in the surf with showing butt before taking the plunge. For me, it’s all about that plunge. No nipple = not a done deal.

      1. Fanning absolutely shows nipple, though, so she’s the strong contender this year because of it. She’s got the sentimental vote locked solid with zero competition. That’s always a very strong voter bloc even against otherwise far better scenes with far better women.

6. Just give Sweeney the title

   1. I dunno. I like Sydney a lot, but I also like Lea Seydoux and I really like Vivi Koenig (full body nudity – she basically has Liv Tyler’s face on Jessica Pare’s body). Halsey has to be a contender, and if Megan Montaner were famous at all, she might sweep the whole thing.

      I guess Sydney will win, but there are many others worth considering.

      1. I watched that stupid series Meg Montaner is on, and hated it. Was great, great, great, then got very stupid very fast and I hatewatched it to the end just to see how badly they’d wasted my time. (Very.)

         But then episode six rolls around and the very hot lead actress not only gets naked but gets VERY naked in A VERY hot scene.

         I’ve followed her on Instagram every since. Nothing there, although the super cute rookie government agent from the show apparently spends most of her life naked away from the camera (as a model and as a hobby).

         Montaner is pretty popular in Spain, and this is kinda akin to some of the actresses on True Blood suddenly popping up all naked outta nowhere. Never done anything like that then whammo, full monty.

         If you have Spanish readers you might get some sleeper votes.

         I’m honestly considering her.

         1. She won’t win, but in a world where the actresses’ level of fame was perfectly balanced, she would be a deserving contender. Top five, I would say, and I would not criticize her selection as anyone’s top choice.

   2. If Sydney Meyer’s scene had been just a little more and longer, Sweeney might have have only been the runner-up Sydney of the year.

      1. Agree. I like that scene. Meyer has quite some curves.

   3. I agree with Scoop. Sweeny’s beautiful, sure. It’s a good scene, sure (though a terrible movie). It definitely deserves a high spot on the list. But is it obviously better than some of the other good scenes with beautiful women that Scoop listed? Not as far as I can see.

7. Oh I see, you remembered the Santoni/Villar “Dom” scene. But I’m still suggesting the Julia Konrad scene!
